The role involves working with a variety of heavy diesel vehicles including buses, coaches and trucks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines and vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical issues.

    • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems and determine the appropriate course of action.

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

    • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.

    • Execute complex repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other related components.

    • Adhere to safety standards and protocols while performing repairs and maintenance tasks.

    • Ensure that all equipment is in compliance with relevant safety regulations.

    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding repair timelines and resource needs.

    Qualification:

    • Formal training in diesel mechanics or a related field.

    • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a strong track record of successful repairs and maintenance.

    • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.

    • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.

    • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Positive attitude and a passion for learning.

  • We are actively seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Diesel Mechanic Apprentice. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in diesel engine maintenance and repair. The Diesel Mechanic Apprentice will work closely with experienced mechanics to gain hands-on experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy diesel vehicles including buses, coaches and trucks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate in on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced Diesel Mechanics.

    • Attend and complete formal training sessions to enhance technical knowledge.

    • Assist in inspecting diesel engines and vehicles to identify mechanical issues.

    • Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment to support the diagnostic process.

    • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

    • Assist in simple repairs under supervision to gain practical experience.

    • Adhere to safety standards and guidelines at all times.

    • Learn and apply safety protocols in the workshop.
